What can a Pear assistant help with?
Calendar, inbox, travel, and the operational & personal admin that keeps your week running. We also take on project-based work and one-off tasks. If it's repeatable, we'll build a system around it. If it's ad-hoc, we'll handle it as it lands.
How do you match me with an assistant?
We start with a short call to understand your world, the rhythm of your week, life & where we can support. From there, we line you up with the assistant in our circle whose skills, communication style, and availability suit you best.
How quickly can someone start?
For most setups, within a week of your initial call. More complex matches take a little longer. We'll agree a realistic start date upfront so nothing feels rushed.
How do I communicate with my assistant?
Whatever works for you. Most clients use a mix of email, WhatsApp, Slack, and voice notes. Every assistant can have access to all necessary in-house systems/company email that are needed. We can work with you and/or your IT team to set this up.
What about confidentiality?
Every Pear assistant signs an NDA before starting with you. We treat your business and personal information with the discretion you'd expect from someone in-house.
What if the match isn't working?
Rare, but it happens. Tell us early and we'll match you with someone else from our circle. No awkward conversations, no fees for the swap.
How does pricing work?
We offer hourly retainers, fixed monthly packages, and project fees. The right structure depends on your scope. Drop us a line on the contact page and we'll send a proposal within a working day.
Is there a minimum commitment?
We work in monthly cycles with no long-term lock-in. You can adjust your hours with reasonable notice.
Can I scale my hours up or down?
Yes. If you need additional hours we will charge per the hour. If you are consistently going over the hours then we may look to increase the set retainer to ensure capacity.
Where are your assistants based?
Our assistants are UK based. Due to the nature of our industry there may be occasions where they work from outside the UK. Likewise, if you are on a different time zone we can arrange cover.
What hours do your assistants work?
We are available Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. Support outside of our standard hours can be arranged if needed.
Will I always work with the same assistant?
The key to building a successful Executive & Assistant relationship is consistency and trust. Therefore, you will have one dedicated assistant for support.
Do you work with individuals as well as businesses?
Yes! We can work across either, but mostly we tend to help with both. We can support with business operations but also make sure your council tax is paid! Multi-tasking is our bread and butter.
